After the children working so hard all term we have decided to have a fun afternoon. The children are welcome to bring in a toy/board game from home and have a play day (afternoon) to end the term! If they don’t want to bring anything then that is fine, we will have school iPads, chromebooks and chess sets in class for the children to use. See you all tomorrow for our last day before half term 😉

The children in the pic scored 9 or 10/10.
Tonight the children will bring home their Spellzoo Dictation book. Please put it back in and keep it in their book bag once you’ve seen their score.
What a grey day! Don’t worry though. It is roasty toasty in Y2 and we have our first chess lesson of 2016.
This afternoon we have singing with Ms Bennett and we will be learning a David Bowie song!
Hope all of the parents have a lovely day, I know that we will.

Tomorrow, we will be looking at written methods for addition.
We will be starting with some hands on Maths and will be using dienes.
The site in the link below is great for some extra practise.
